About Me
Who am i as a producer?
Audiosoundscape was born from the idea of making music as a profession. I am a 25 year old Finnish born man named Olli Pulkkinen. I've produced music since 2013, and after the Special Forces and UN peacekeeping, I realized that music could become my profession. Doing what i enjoy the most.
I think what I find most important in my songs is that I try to leave space for the artist. Often as a producer, I like to fill in every passage with new sounds and melodies so that the song doesn’t get boring. But this is where we get lost in the woods.
I want to create songs that evoke emotions in the listener. Songs that are the best, because in today’s music, the “okay songs” don’t cut it. I take my time to make corrections and improvements, and I don’t hand down what I think is a bad song. You also have to understand the most important thing, music is subjective. Everyone has their own opinion.
There are producers and tracks available beyond the record labels, but an understanding of the overall passion for music is something I value greatly. For me, it is the experience of creating something that has never been heard before. Together we can build a community and bring our best on the table.
The time-consuming processes of editing, mixing and recording require a committed producer who understands the artist and delivers on their requests. There are situations where the producer has to say if a song is not good and that takes courage and guts. This is what audiosoundscape is made of.
While producing free songs for my circle of friends, a common problem came to my attention. Honesty creates hits. You have to dare to admit your mistakes and learn new things. ego and self-belief needs to be separated.
